And they are super easy to make There was a surprise party that I need to go to as I was wondering what to make for a friend who I have not seen for a long time ago so I decided to make these chicken wings for everyone and we all had the fun of licking finger with these delicious tasty wings. Sesame seed lime chicken wings

Ingredients
  

  • 10 – 12 chicken wings, cut into 3 pieces and tips discarded
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp Garlic(minced)
  • ½ tsp ginger(minced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Spring onion for garnishing
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For chicken wings seasoning

  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • first, cut and discard the end tip of each chicken wing.
  • Rinse wings under cold water and pat dry
  • In a heavy pot, pour in vegetable or canola oil to a depth of 3 inches. Heat over medium-high for about 10 minutes or until ready for frying.
  • Combine sauce ingredients ketchup, sugar, honey, sesame seed oil, sesame oil, lime juice, cayenne, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and salt in a small sauce pan. Boil until sauce slightly thicken on a low heat. set aside
  • In a clean bowl, season your chicken wing pieces with salt. Fry for 7 to 8 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels
  • Toss fried chicken wings in your combined sauce for 1 minute
  • Served hot and garnish with spring onion.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan when frying each batch.
  • You can double the lime juice to cut the sweetness
  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup or lime with lemon juice
