Simple Banana Bread Recipe

Banana bread is so easy to make and I make them ahead so that anytime I need a snack of sweet they are just ready for a go with a cup of tea, you can’t go wrong with trying this simple and easy banana bread recipe.As the name implies you already know that you will need some good ripe banana in the kitchen to go.In this recipe, I used 3 large banana but if you have smaller ones don’t worry just add one to the total making 4 banana. Without wasting too much time so let’s get started.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 1 cup cup granulated sugar
  • 2 pcs eggs-beaten
  • 4 bananas, finely crushed
  • 1 1⁄2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp baking soda
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ½ tbsp Vanilla flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350º / 180º
  • Sift together flour, soda, and salt in a separate bowl and set aside
  • Cream together butter and sugar till pale and fluffy then add the vanilla extract
  • Creaming your butter and sugar takes 5min to cream so do not over mix
  • Add your egg one at a time at a slow speed then
  • Add your dry ingredients mix for a few seconds, just until well combined
  • Fold in your crushed banana
  • Pour into greased and floured loaf pan or you can also use wax paper to lay your pan
  • Bake at 350º / 180º for 55 minutes
  • Always keep an eye on the baking time so that you don’t over bake your banana bread and end up with a dry banana bread, insert your skewer inside your bread once it comes out clean you know is done
  • let it cool down before serving, Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can store your banana bread in the fridge well wrapped in plastic, zippered lock bag, or foil wrap for up to 5 days when properly stored
  • I prefer to slice them into portions before storing so I do not just bother to do slicing again everyone can just go and get a slice making my life easy Lol
  • You can also freeze them but make sure you thaw at room temperature before serving!
